What can I say, Philadelphia is a pretty cool city! I really enjoyed it and loved all the different neighborhoods. Next time I go, I definitely want to head down there with friends and check out South Street at night. Reading Market was another highlight of Philly, it reminded me of Chelsea Market in NYC. Like I said, I recommend Jim’s Steaks on South Street of you’re in the area. And if you’re new to Philly, take one of those silly trolley tours—they’re super fun and informative!

I’ve been hearing about the famous Philly cheesesteaks for as long as I can remember. There are even documentaries comparing the cheesesteaks of Pat’s and Geno’s, which are conveniently placed across the street from each other (competition!!)

And then there’s Jim’s on South Street. I decided to turn to FB to ask my friends which to go to—most said Pat’s, but I of course figured I’d do some cheesesteak research solely based off of Foursquare tips. After comparing the three, I decided on Jim’s (..it had great reviews and plus it was closer to my hotel haha!)

See picture. No need to explain. That’s a cheesesteak with white American, grilled onions, mayo and of course steak! If you’re in Philly, get some! (Multiple, because they’re that good)

Me in front of Moshulu. Believe it or not, this is actually a restaurant! I’m putting this on my Philly to-do list, but for right now, I’m not dressed up enough to go in!!

Salmon at the City Tavern—delicious! Check-in on Foursquare for a free dessert at the end of your meal :) Yum!

I’m back!!

Hey followers, SO—since I’ve been city hoppin’ within the past year or so, I’ve decided that I’m going to turn this tumblr into a travel/lifestyle blog and feature some of my favorite things I come across while traveling around the US. Currently I’m en route to Philly (first time!!) so I’ll start off with some fun Philly stuff—cheesesteaks will be involved. My closest friends know that I will travel for food. #exfatkid :)

Happy May!
